2013 Golden Globes Winners

The 2013 Golden Globes, hosted by both Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, was a night full of winners and losers who were all were triumphant and accomplished artists and, who, in all rights, have won the pride and admiration of their peers and fans just by being nominated.

The night was taken by Fey and Poehler and the two were relentlessly funny making one easily forget the two were EX-cast members of SNL.

Argo won Best Picture and Best Director even as its director Ben Affleck was snubbed by the Academy for those categories.

Daniel Day-Lewis won Best Actor for Lincoln as did Jessica Chastain for Zero Dark Thirty. Anne Hathaway won supporting for Les Mis along with Christopher Waltz for Django Unchained.

The Golden Globes are held by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, an organization that primarily hosts the Globes and donates money to entertainment related charities. The organization places an emphasis on foreign as well as domestic films in its award considerations.
